CLUB Z is a private, members only, BYOB, on-premises club for couples, single females and select single males, that are guests of member couples, who are currently living or have an interest in the lifestyle.  CLUB Z caters to those in the lifestyle with an interest in socializing with classy, professional,  racially diverse people.

Located in the greater Columbus area, We provide an upscale, discrete, non-pressure atmosphere where our members and guests can meet others with similar interests, socialize and play at your level of comfort. Once at CLUB Z you will find a very sensual, inviting and intimate private residential atmosphere - unlike any other club experience in the Central Ohio area.

Our Goal at CLUB Z is to provide the best possible environment and atmosphere for your enjoyment. This new lifestyle experience includes intimacy, privacy, security and most of all the freedom to express oneself at a discreet private club in a residential setting. CLUB Z is designed to provide an intimate “house party” experience with a highly diverse, interracial and friendly group of professional people who share your same interests and desires.

Your Hosts have been in the lifestyle for many years. As a result of our former business travels, we have had the opportunity to go to about 20-30 different lifestyle clubs all over the country and internationally - from Seattle to San Diego, from Philadelphia to Florida and from Toronto to Jamaica. Being an interracial couple ourselves, we found that every club had typically no more than a literal handful of non-white members and/or guests. Most times we found the clubs to be very “clickish” and non-friendly to people of diverse ethnic backgrounds. Many times we left not feeling very comfortable and welcome. We found this very same sentiment from talking with every other couple, and all the single people too, of diverse ethnic backgrounds that we have met in our travels.

The concept for CLUB Z started as a series of private house parties; given by a group of interracial friends looking for a different type of lifestyle experience than what we found at the “regular” lifestyle clubs. Both of your hosts have always enjoyed entertaining. We started hosting parties quarterly in Cleveland, Ohio, alternating the party location with our close friends. The parties where always great successes and enjoyed by all attending. When a new job opportunity brought your hosts to Columbus, we began to visit the other Central Ohio “clubs” and talked to other people we met in Central Ohio. We found them to be like all the other clubs we had been to: devoid of any meaningful diversity. And, the environment of the clubs were not as upscale as we were comfortable with either.

We decided to start having private house parties at our comfortable garden apartment in Columbus on a more regular basis than we had in Cleveland.  Through our group on the “Swappernet” lifestyle website, “Columbus Interracial Fun”, we began having monthly interracial house parties. The parties have become very popular and we have had to limit attendance at the parties to 30-35 people due to the limitations of the size of the apartment. We have been hosting parties at our garden apartment for over  two years now. 

In 2005 we decided to buy land and build a new house that would be designed for entertainment and hosting lifestyle parties. We wanted to build a place similar to a club we went to in San Diego that we really enjoyed. It is in a 5,000 plus square foot private house in a rural area outside of San Diego. It was a very comfortable place and had the kind of intimate and private atmosphere that we enjoy. That club has been voted one of the best lifestyle clubs in the United States for several years. That club is the conceptual genesis for CLUB Z. In the summer of 2005, we found the ideal site for the house. It is a beautiful secluded rural 6-acre wooded lot, that will have the house sit back over 1,700 feet from the road, in a rural area of Greater Columbus. The custom architect designed house design is complete. The new CLUB Z will have over 6,000 square foot of floor area devoted to lifestyle entertaining.. It will be a highly contemporary ranch style home that is totally designed with lifestyle entertaining in mind. The house in Cleveland has finally been sold. We are in the process now of clearing the site and plan to complete site preparation this summer/fall. The actual construction of the house will start in the spring of  2009 and be complete in the spring/summer of 2010.

As we began to plan for the parties at the new house, the idea to create a more formal club, like the one we were most impressed with and enjoyed in San Diego, became a reality. We started having parties simply as a hobby that we paid for, for our enjoyment and that of our friends. As time passed, the parties became more popular and larger, we started having them on a monthly basis and when we decided to build the new house, we wanted one that was designed for entertaining. We also decided that this hobby of ours needed to become one that would pay for itself. It has not been, nor is it now , our desire for this to be a "job" or  a "business". That is why we plan to continue to do the parties only once a month, even in the new house. We love having fun ourselves in the lifestyle and we love to entertain. The development of CLUB Z is the fulfillment of our desire to create a hobby that we enjoy that will simply pay for itself.

The idea of providing a different choice of lifestyle club was born out of these desires.

That concept has become your new CLUB Z: The Ultimate Interracial Lifestyle Club in Central Ohio. 

Club Z parties will initially continue to be held at our garden apartment in Columbus and remain limited to 30-35 invited guests. When the new house is completed in 2010, CLUB Z will move to its new home.  We have decided to keep the guest size small even after the move. We will limit the parties to no more than 50-75 guests to insure that we maintain the intimate private “House Party” atmosphere and experience.
