About Club Z

1. Is a membership required? CLUB Z is a private club and requires that everyone be a member. You must be 21 years of age to become a member. Applications are accepted on-line.  Once you have submitted your application you will receive a  membership number. Make sure you bring this membership number and your valid photo ID (Driver’s License) to the club on the night of your first visit. Your hosts will quickly process the application and will request your signature of the membership application in person, at the club. It takes just a few minutes. Upon signing  your application you will be issued your  membership card for the year . Your membership in the club must be renewed annually, at the beginning of each calendar year. The membership process is designed to provide security and control to ensure appropriate and compatible people are the only people allowed in the club.

2. What is the interview like? The interview consists of basic questions of you and what your interests are, how long you have been in the lifestyle, etc. The interview is intended to assure both you and your hosts that your membership will be mutually beneficial and agreeable to you and CLUB Z.  The initial interview is done by phone first. You, or both you and your partner if you are a couple, must be present when making this call.

3. What is the dress code for the club? Most men wear dress slacks, dress or pressed sports shirts. Men should dress to impress. No jeans, torn clothing, baseball caps and tennis shoes are permitted. Ladies come dressed in sexy, sensuous outfits that you can share with your partner privately or with the rest of the club members. Again, the overall objective here is to dress to impress. We also have themed events and you will be surprised at how fun role-playing can be for you and your partner. So try it, you just might like it.

4. Can people spend the night? CLUB Z does permit and actually encourages that you stay overnight. We can accommodate a number of overnight guests. Just please let us know if you plan on staying overnight so that we can make sure we have enough sleeping accommodations for all those planning on staying overnight. All of our overnight guests always enjoy a complimentary home cooked breakfast by your hosts. We currently have room for up to about 16 overnight guests.  We

 5.  What if we have a little too much to drink? CLUB Z’s Policy is to call a cab or Limo service for you. You may pick up your vehicle the following day. If we determine that you have had too much to drink, we will ask you to stop drinking alcohol. CLUB Z Policy is to refrain from drinking and driving. We encourage everyone to have a designated driver, if they plan to drink more than a few drinks.

6. Do I need a reservation to enter the Club? CLUB Z requires reservations. You must email or call your hosts at least several days before the event you plan to attend so that we may send you an Evite. You will confirm your attendance at the event thru the Evite system. We will continue to use the Evite reservation system we have been using as noted on the Reservations page.

7. Does CLUB Z sell alcohol and food? By law, CLUB Z cannot sell beer, wine, and liquor. We provide a complimentary selection of soft drinks, juices and other mixers. CLUB Z requests that you bring your own alcoholic beverage(s) of choice. CLUB Z is also pleased to provide a very nice buffet at no charge to club members!

8.  What is the orientation for and about? At your request we would be happy to provide you a full orientation of the CLUB Z experience. The orientation gives you a background of how & why we started the club as well as membership and lifestyle information. We will give our advice on how to approach the lifestyle and explain more about what our parties are like.

9.  What kind of music do you play at CLUB Z?  We really try to keep a nice variety of contemporary music. We play music from today back to the 70's. We tend to lean toward urban contemporary music based on the interracial makeup of the membership. However, we will always take requests. We try to play an equal mixture of erotic sensual slow music and fast party music as well.

10. Will our belongings be ok if we play in the back? Yes your belongings will not be bothered while you are enjoying your time at CLUB Z. We have never had anything taken form someone else yet at a party.  We have however had many people leave things at the parties. We maintain a lost a found chest where we keep our guest’s belongings. You are always welcome to retrieve them at the next party.

11. Which clubs are good in the area? What are they like? All the clubs in the Central Ohio area are in our opinion good clubs; it just depends on what you are looking for in a club. There are several review sites that you can check out on the web. They have posts from members and guests that have attended the clubs and they are allowed to give their own review. CLUB Z is unique in that we cater to those in the lifestyle with an interest in socializing with classy, professional, highly ethnically diverse and interracial people. CLUB Z is also different because it has been conceived to provide an intimate “house party” experience unlike many of the clubs that are in more commercial business settings. We encourage you to try out CLUB Z and experience a Different Choice.

About The Lifestyle

12. What is "the lifestyle"? There are several types of swinging or “lifestyles” as most veterans call it. Swinging, as defined by Patti Thomas in Recreational Sex is “as an alternative lifestyle for consenting adults who feel that sexual non-monogamy between committed partners greatly enhances their relationship, allowing them to openly experience social, recreational sex with a number of partners, most often on a “couple-to couple” basis.” This does not mean, of course, that singles are not actively involved in the swinging lifestyle because they are very important members of the lifestyle too. Open swinging usually involves 2-3 couples or singles partying together and is very enjoyable for people who enjoy watching their mates with others. Closed swinging is when two couples exchange partners in different rooms or settings. Group swinging is just what it says, groups of couples and singles and is most enjoyable for those who enjoy exhibitionism and voyeurism all at the same time.

All of the above may occur at a house party, a couple-to-couple encounter or at a club and these parties can be "on-premise" or "off-premise." An off-premise party allows for social interaction and mingling and usually arrangements are made to go elsewhere to pursue further activities. The parties at CLUB Z are on-premises and allow members to enjoy the lifestyle in a safe, secure and clean environment.

13. What kinds of people swing? All kinds, all ages, all heights, all occupations, all races, all shapes and sizes.

14. Why do couples participate in the Lifestyle? Contrary to popular belief, couples do not become involved with this lifestyle out of boredom, but out of a sense of adventure. Basically, these are couples that already enjoy a good relationship and want to add another dimension to the relationship. It is a shared experience that appeals to their needs and fantasies and their desire to explore them together rather than apart. Growth on multiple facets of their lives is often an added benefit. Couples with trouble in their relationship are cautioned not to become involved in the lifestyle.

15.  Why swing if you are single? For single females, the sky is the limit. You have the opportunity for “the best of both worlds” and probably more single females would enjoy swinging if they were better exposed to it. For the single man, in order to be a success, you will need to be patient and easy-going. Socialize with the other members and remember that it is important to be warm, considerate, sensual and fun to be with.

16. Is the lifestyle all the fun that I have heard? You bet it is! It is every bit as exciting and fulfilling as you imagine it to be! CLUB Z gives you the opportunity to meet other like-minded couples and select singles in a relaxing, and fun atmosphere. You can engage in club-organized events, or you are welcome to arrange activities among the membership.

17. Should everyone swing? Swinging is not for everyone. Often times the ladies will complain that their partner is too pushy and impatient and pressuring them to do things that they are not yet comfortable doing. We suggest that the first time you visit CLUB Z just relax and enjoy some of the recreational activities and watch some of the members. After you leave CLUB Z talk to your partner and share your feelings. We’re sure that you will feel just like we did when we were first introduced to this fabulous freedom we experience in the lifestyle. Familiarizing yourself with this new found lifestyle is a process and giving your partner the freedom to explore the lifestyle at their own pace will be rewarding beyond your wildest dreams.  However, If this lifestyle poses a threat to either part of a couple, becoming involved would not be pleasurable and is not advised. If it is of interest to you, and you feel able to handle it, explore the lifestyle and the experience!

18. Can our relationship be hurt in the lifestyle? Relationships have generally been improved by participating in this lifestyle. It is a shared activity that promotes understanding, intimacy and communication. It can remove inhibitions imposed by society; it breaks up the routine and removes the need for role-playing. Especially, it encourages honesty between couples. However, couples with trouble in their relationship are cautioned not to become involved in the lifestyle. It could even be of more damage to an already troubled relationship.

19. Isn't this cheating? Swingers consider this a lifestyle choice, not cheating. Cheating is deceiving your loved one. Most couple’s swing for the experiences they can enjoy together, not to find something different from each other. Only couples and select singles are permitted to attend CLUB Z parties.

20. Do we have to be a married couple to attend? No. We have couples who are married, couples who cohabitate, and couples who are just dating.

21. Why meet at a club and not at a specified location? Meeting a couple at a specified location is ok but with some couples it gives them a feeling of having to do something when you all meet. Whether this is true or not it’s going to be there. With the clubs you have more of a freedom and less anxiety when meeting a couple for the first time. Also you can meet more couples that are involved in the lifestyle that might be looking for the same things that you are.

22. How do you start out in the Lifestyle? The best advice we can give is to search around, browse the ads on the net, look for a couple that you might be interested in and send them an instant message and/or E-Mail get to know them and what they like etc. Discuss the things that you both are looking for and eventually setup a meeting with them whether at a club (our suggestion) or at a specified location.

Who Comes

23. What sort of people come to CLUB Z? Our members tend to be upscale, mature, fun loving, open-minded and curious. But most importantly, our members are our best assets and we want members of the club who are fun loving and respectful of others. Membership at CLUB Z is nondiscriminatory as to age, color, creed, social class, education or income. Members are mature, happy, and exploring people with a zest for living and a curiosity of life. People who, on the average, enjoy successful relationships and are generally successful in both their social and business lives. Most of them have families and children, which they love and care about very much. This is just something that is for the two of them to get away from everything and enjoy themselves.

24. What is the age range of the people that attend CLUB Z? There really is no average age per se, members’ ages range from the late 20's to 50+. We encourage members of all ages to participate and enjoy CLUB Z. But, the majority will be in their 30s and 40s.

25.  Are most of the couples who attend experienced in the lifestyle? Not all.  We have several new couples at each party. Because we have a no-pressure atmosphere people feel very secure that being inexperienced is very much o.k. at CLUB Z.

26. Does the club allow interracial couples? Absolutely all races/colors/ages are welcome. In fact, interracial couples and people of diverse ethnic backgrounds are whom we cater to at CLUB Z.  

What To Expect

27.  What can I expect once I become a member? Upon your first visit to CLUB Z, one of your hosts will take you on a tour of the house and explain some simple rules and answer any questions you may have. If you have never visited a club you may have a very different idea of what you can expect than what actually takes place. The atmosphere is much like any of your favorite house parties that you have been to. The only difference is that you have the ability to explore aspects of yourself and/or your partner or other members of the club that you have never experienced before. CLUB Z is designed for you to have fun and pleasure. If at any time you need assistance or have questions, your hosts will be more than happy to help you. We want you to be completely at ease, having fun and enjoying the many activities at CLUB Z. There’s lots to do: dance, eat, mingle with others, talk, socialize at the bar, listen to your favorite music, stroll thru the Club or sit and relax.

28. Do we have to participate in the club activities? No, of course not. Many people come to just watch all the fun. No one at the    CLUB Z is pressured to do anything except have fun. All the activities, games, music, entertainment, soft lighting, great food, comfortable surroundings are for one purpose. To allow people to have a lot of fun with absolutely "No Pressure". If you want to join in some of the activities, great, but our members are at CLUB Z to have FUN. Enjoy CLUB Z on your own terms.

29. Do I have to join any of the contests, ice breakers, etc. that CLUB Z has? No, of course not. You are free to just come dance, and have an enjoyable evening together and go home. Quite a few couples do!. Or you can join in on the fun contests that we have on some of our theme nights. The choice is always up to you! The most important thing is to come and have an enjoyable, carefree evening, without any of the concerns that you have when going to a normal public place. (I.E.--The drunken single guys that try to pick you up while your husband has gone to the bathroom)....lol. Many of the couples that come to the club are just looking to make new friends, and to add a little extra excitement to their own relationship. Some members are active in the lifestyle, some are not. Yet all share one common thing -- they all are open-minded and fun-loving people.  

Don't allow yourself to be forced into an uncomfortable situation. You should never feel pressured into talking, or spending time with anyone you don't want to. You are here to have fun; being coerced is not fun. So if anyone persists, please inform your hosts. Respect other peoples' right to privacy and be discreet. Who you see and where you saw them at is all privileged information. Please don't abuse it. As a member of CLUB Z, you agree not to divulge any information about the above mentioned to anyone but other club members.

30.  What happens if we don't want to do anything sexual with anyone at the end of the night? That is perfectly fine. We recommend you set your own pace, take your time. Not everyone "hooks up" at each party.

31. What about safe sex? Should we bring condoms? It is your personal choice and between you and your mate whether you use condoms or not. This is a Question you need to ask of the people that you are planning to be with. You are more than welcome to bring your own condoms; CLUB Z does provide complimentary condoms in the rooms for those who wish to practice safe sex.

32. Do we have to have sex with someone when we go to the club? No you are not expected to have sex with anyone at the club that's what is nice about CLUB Z; there is no pressure to do anything with anyone nor are you expected to participate in Games played while there. You will find this to be true with most or all of the clubs in the area.

33. Do we have to bring and change clothes after we get there?  No you do not have to participate in changing of clothes; this is for couples that feel comfortable in the idea of changing or that bring clothes for a specific theme party at the club.

34.Can we leave if we don't like it? You are free to leave the club anytime you wish.

35. What about personal safety? If someone wont take no for an answer? In the lifestyle, while at any club in the area NO means NO.  Its a common respect between persons at the clubs. If you have limits they are respected between the people you are with. When you meet couples you need to find out where their and your limits are and discuss them first.

36. Is there just people having sex all over the place? No, on rare occasions you may see someone have sex in the social area but for the most part it is conducted in private.

37. Are the rooms private at all or can someone just walk in uninvited? There are Private and Semi-Private rooms, People will not walk in on you uninvited. 

      What Is Allowed

38. Can I ask anyone to dance? Sure you can, but always remember to have respect for their spouse when asking.

39. Can women dance with each other? CLUB Z was designed for women and couples in mind. As always, it is important to be respectful and ask first before touching anyone. We hope that we have created an environment where everyone feels comfortable enough to express them selves in a healthy way.

40. Do we bring coolers or an overnight bag?  There is a  refrigerator and cooler for drinks.  Feel free to mark your drinks and no one will bother them. Overnight bags are optional; people do bring in a bag with clothes for the party's theme or clothing they feel more comfortable wearing during the party.

41. Can we be with more than one couple in a night? You can be with as many people as you want.

42. Do we have to party as a couple? No, that is totally up to you and your partner and the persons that you are wanting to party with.

How To Act

43.  What if we meet an acquaintance? If this happens, it will be a surprise for both parties. And, if it does trust your instincts, CLUB Z is big enough for everyone. To be a member you must respect all others in the club and you may find that you like getting to know the acquaintance a whole lot better. Be discreet. You and the couple you know have the same things at stake if someone found out. Remember what happens at a party stays at the party.

44. We are shy but want to meet new friends? As a group, club members are friendly and outgoing people, but it is a two-way street. You should introduce yourself to others. If you are unusually shy, or if the group appears cliquish, ask your hosts to arrange an introduction.

45. Can we be up front about our what we are looking for? It is essential that everyone know up front what the other is looking to find out of their situation. This will avoid an embarrassing situation later on.

46. How do we ask or let someone know we are interested? By talking to the people that you are interested in introduce yourselves and tell them that you are interested and attracted, If you are uncomfortable in asking or meeting people, your hosts at the club will introduce you to them then its up to you to make your interests known.

47. How do we let a couple know we aren't interested with out hurting their feelings? Well there are a few ways but we have found..."We are involved with another couple right now" and "We haven't decided what we are going to do yet" work the best and they don't make it too personal.

48. What’s the best way to get to know a couple? We suggest using a chat program to talk to them on line first, until you are comfortable enough to trade pictures, meet or chat on the phone with them. With most couples it is a safe way of getting to know each other without leaving yourself open for any unwanted problems.

49. Is it OK for new couples to come to a party and what if we only participate a little or go slow? New Couples are welcome to attend and will find that CLUB Z is very comfortable. Your host's are really friendly and the atmosphere is laid back with NO pressure to do anything. As to participation; that is totally up to you and your partner. If you find a couple your interested in make your sexual preferences/ practices known to them.

50. What is the best way to get this party started now? You feeling comfortable and welcome at CLUB Z, beginning with your very first party. Everyone is having fun at CLUB Z. The only thing missing now is YOU!
